Description
Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Mechanical Engineering with Central Utility Plant design experience to their Minneapolis team! Responsibilities: HVAC engineering design (calculate heating/cooling loads, select equipment, layout duct and piping, create/edit project details, write/edit project engineering specifications) Manage clients and coordinate teams Participate in design review meetings and workshops Resolve complex issues Provide design options to project team and document findings Make sure drawing/designs are in accordance with local codes and design standards Coordinate with other disciplines as needed (architectural/engineering) Requirements: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering 8+ years of consulting engineering experience in Central Utility Plant design PE License Experience in Steam and Hot Water Boiler Plant Systems Experience in Chiller plants of 1,000 tons or greater Experience in Revit, BIM, Trane/Trace and Microsoft Office Knowledge in building controls preferred Salary is commensurate with experience.
