Description

We are Hiring Mechanical Engineer – Heavy Equipment (Cranes, Forklifts & Excavators Experience) to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the performance of heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and excavators. Ensures all mechanical systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and operational standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 4-8 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance, especially cranes, forklifts, and excavators.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, transmission systems, and control circuits.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, service manuals, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and team leadership abilities.
  • UAE driving license preferred (if applicable).
  • Familiar with safety standards such as OSHA / ISO.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for cranes, forklifts, excavators, and related heavy equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems of heavy machinery.
  • Supervise and coordinate workshop and field service teams for timely repairs.
  • Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Perform equipment inspections and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of required components.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, service logs, and equipment performance records.
  • Support the commissioning and installation of new equipment.
  • Provide technical training and support to junior technicians and operators.
  • Liaise with OEMs and suppliers for technical support and warranty claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and industry regulations.
