Create and modify designs of equipment including standard specifications for manufacturing for assignments classified as low to medium complexity by applying standard concepts. How you’ll make an impact 1. You will lead the creation and development of design specifications, models, engineering artifacts, conduct design reviews and verifications, making necessary modifications, ensure designs meet all relevant standards and regulations, provide technical support in reviewing and understanding contract requirements related to design projects. 2.You will ensure design milestones are met, and projects are delivered on time incl. monitor project progress and adjust as needed, conduct risk assessments, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies, identify opportunities for design improvements and innovation. 3.You will regularly interact with customers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into design improvements, ensure customer requirements are accurately captured and addressed in the design process, work closely with the supply chain team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, evaluate and select materials and components, balancing cost, quality, and performance. 4.You will prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design calculations, technical reports, and manuals to support engineering processes, use standard processes and tools, assist in developing new processes and tools for reuse of technical solutions. 5.You will ensure that designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and organizational policies, identify and implement design improvements based on feedback, test results, and industry best practices to enhance quality and efficiency. 6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. 7. Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field. 2. Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in design engineering. 3.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 4.Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. 5.Proactive attitude, self-motivated and with a strong sense of ownership, open to change, feedback and continuous improvement. 6.Proficiency in English communication.
