Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate, inspect, maintain, and service automated machinery (Mechatronics, CNC, Waterjet technology) following documented procedures and report any faults.
  • Implement preventative maintenance procedures and ensure adherence to equipment maintenance standards.
  • Follow plant and company procedures, including OHS and production protocols.
  • Carry out routine inspections and audits of job quality using digital reporting systems.
  • Execute production operations within a Lean fabrication environment according to prescriptive standards.
  • Maintain and operate MRP/ERP software and barcode scanning systems.
  • Report faults and ensure corrective actions are taken following established maintenance procedures.
  • Develop and recommend process improvements within defined parameters to optimise production capacity and reliability.
  • Plan and oversee production operations to achieve high-quality output based on internal guidelines.
  • Develop standard operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
  • Perform production-related analysis and report findings for incremental process improvements.

MAIN TASKS

  • Provide operational support to ensure equipment is maintained according to documented preventative schedules.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure all machinery complies with specified codes and standards.
  • Train and guide team members in production processes and the use of maintenance procedures.
  • Supervise routine production processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Investigate problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions following documented procedures.
  • Identify unsafe operations and report them promptly to management for resolution.
  • Evaluate production activities and suggest improvements based on operational data.
