At this level, you may lead projects where others report to you. You are expected to be the source of customer specifications. Being proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor is needed to create complex designs that may need analysis. In this role, you will... Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products. May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products. May lead and direct the work of others. Create and maintain CAD files. Work with production to make drawing corrections and drawing refinements. Work with sales to extract the required info to achieve customer’s needs. Apply customer’s specifications for new and existing designs. Requirements We're excited about you because you... Have a bachelor's degree in engineering and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area is preferred. Are familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of complicated tasks. Have a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Are proficient with Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical. Are proficient with Autodesk Inventor. Are proficient with Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Are able to use ABAS ERP system. Are able to meet deadlines, even if it requires extra hours. Are proficient with customer’s specifications
