BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters- Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Special Requirements:
Experience with carrier engineering technical authority and build authority documents. Understands and applies engineering procedures to manufacturing processes and production methods within a model based environment.

Eagerness and willingness to learn, enjoys working on teams and the ability to embrace change and adapt quickly.

• Engineering experience within the carrier program is highly preferred.
• Experience as a mechanical engineer is preferred.
• Experience using Team Center, NGP, NX, and SAP is highly preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
