Job Description The SFP Mechanical Engineer Intern is responsible for gaining exposure to career opportunities within the energy technology industry. This person discovers SLB’s role in the industry and the lifestyle associated with the job. Offers support for developing and completing design projects in order to meet customer specific requirements or the needs of the oilfield industry in general, in accordance with Engineering standards and procedures and industry standards. Gather documentary evidence regarding the general and special requirements of the products; Create drawings and BOM’s in conformity with customer specifications and industry’s standards, ensuring that all designs are done timely and accurately; Participate to technical specifications and procedures preparing; Participate to technical assistance during the manufacturing process, until the products are installed; Participate to the activity of analyzing and preparing documentation for quotations. Mandatory requirements: Student for bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical design Métier (Oilfield Equipment, Product Design Engineering, TCM, Automotive, etc.) English – Proficiency B1 Basic skills of Mechanical design calculations Basic knowledge of materials and metallurgy Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Knowledge of CAD Software (3D modelling – Preferably Inventor, PTC CREO, SolidWorks, etc.) Knowledge of CAD Software (2D modelling – Preferably Inventor and AutoCAD) Recruitment advantage: Hands‑on experience / exposure to the manufacturing environment Basic knowledge of Design for Lifting Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes / Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Knowledge of Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Knowledge of ERP/ MRP System Engineering Knowledge of FEA, basic principles What we can offer: Meal tickets. Responsibilities
