We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer with specialized knowledge in kitchen exhaust systems, ducting design, smoke & grease filtration, and ecology units. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HVAC systems related to commercial kitchens and should be capable of designing, reviewing, and supervising installation and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and review kitchen ventilation systems including hoods, duct routing, and exhaust fans.
Specify and size ecology units (electrostatic filters, carbon filters, UV systems, etc.).
Ensure compliance with local regulations and international ventilation standards.
Work with consultants, contractors, and MEP teams to integrate exhaust and filtration systems.
Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and troubleshoot issues when required.
Prepare technical submittals and documentation for client/authority approvals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years experience in kitchen ventilation and ecology unit systems.
Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA 96, and other ventilation standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software.
UAE experience and knowledge of local authority requirements (DM, DCD, etc.) preferred.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
