We are looking for a mechanical / mechatronics / electrical / electronic engineer to join our friendly team to expand our business and to help us cope with an increasing workload.

About The Role
As a key member of our safety testing team, we are looking for a mechanical engineer / mechatronics engineer / electrical engineer / electronic engineer to build on our market-leading engineering capability. Working with the technical manager, the role is to:
- Research, design and develop mechatronic testing equipment and aid
- Conduct computer CAD modelling to aid testing of mechatronic products
- Analyse mechatronics products test results and provide solutions on non-compliant issues to improve product safety
- Perform product safety tests in accordance with local or international standards
- Design and develop laboratory equipment to meet project requirements
- Establish standards and policies for quality control and maintenance of equipment
- Create and improve test plans, test procedures, and test methods
- Provide schedules and timely responses to customers
- Review technical product documents to ensure they are suitable for product certification and applications

Skills And Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Hands-on experience in testing, CAD Modelling and Microsoft office
- High attention to detail and the ability to document technical work clearly while managing multiple projects
- Familiarity with safety test equipment and methods, and general laboratory test equipment
- Be technically minded and have previous experience with reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting technical documents and test reports
- Problem-solving mindset
- Valid Australian Driver’s License
- Applicant must have the right to work
