Job Description Role Description: Responsible for providing engineering design support and solutions for crane systems and industrial lifting equipment within the assigned region. Ensures that designs meet technical specifications, safety standards, customer requirements, and company guidelines. Supports continuous product improvement and localization efforts. Key Tasks : Design & Development: Create and modify crane and lifting equipment designs using CAD software, 3D software and adhering to engineering standards including global and regional requirements. Technical Support: Provide engineering support to regional sales, service, and project teams, resolving technical challenges during planning, installation, fabrication and operation. Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements and Konecranes standard practices. Collaboration: Work closely with global and regional engineering teams, manufacturing, project and suppliers to ensure design safety, manufacturability and cost-effective solutions. Documentation: Prepare calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and reports for designs, ensuring accurate documentation for internal and customer use. Continuous Improvement: Identify design improvements, product optimizations, and efficiency enhancements, contributing to innovation initiatives. Project Support: Assist in engineering feasibility studies, quotations, and project planning for regional projects. Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standard Additional Information Skills & Competencies • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Effective communication and ability to work under deadlines Konecranes moves what matters.
