We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for completing detailed CAD models and drawings from sketches, specifications, written instructions using SolidWorks and Rhino and prototype fabrication of new and current products. At Ledge, your career isn’t just a job – it’s a journey of continuous elevation and achievement. Key Responsibilities: Create, edit, and update projects with SolidWorks and Rhino. Document existing and new product designs. Create and update 3D models (SolidWorks) for new and existing product designs. Create BOMs and Instruction Manuals. Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies. Cut and build prototypes and confirm designs with the Product Development team. Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes and track engineering changes. Develop toolpaths from approved designs for CNC machines using CAMWorks software. Requirements Minimum education requirements: Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Basic understanding of fabrication / assembly methods and practices. Basic understanding of CNC machining. Experience with 3D Parametric Modeling Software (SolidWorks preferred). Experience with CAD Software (Rhino or AutoCAD). Experience with CAM Software is a plus (CAMWorks preferred). The ability to think critically, innovate, and solve problems. Proficiency with basic hand tools and small power tools is a plus. Proficiency in general office software including Microsoft Word and Excel. Effective time management and logical decision-making ability. Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm Physical Requirements: Production/outdoor shop environment. Must be able to lift 75+lbs on a regular basis (with support).
