NGĀ PUKENGA E RAPU NEI MĀTOU | WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience in heavy industry, automotive, or locomotive engineering
• A strong focus on safety, problem-solving, and quality results
• The ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence

Based at our Westfield depot in Auckland, you’ll work hands-on with our Locomotives, ensuring they’re safe, reliable, and ready for action. Whether it’s routine maintenance or responding to the unexpected, you’ll be a key part of keeping our network on track.

In this role, you will:

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs on rolling stock
• Diagnose faults and work collaboratively to resolve issues
• Conduct safety checks and support operators in equipment use
• Keep accurate records and follow safety procedures
• Support yard operations including shunting and piloting when required

Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with a starting hourly rate between $31.50 - $33.05, based on your experience.
