Job Summary: To support our product development team, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in mechanical design for electronic devices, instruments, or ruggedized equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing mechanical components and enclosures for our telecom measurement systems. This includes robust housing for electronic assemblies, precision mechanics for measurement instruments, and solutions that ensure reliability, usability, and compliance in challenging field environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical parts, enclosures, and assemblies for telecom measurement equipment.
  • Collaborate with electronics, RF, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electronic components.
  • Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and assembly documentation.
  • Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) to ensure cost-effective and reliable production.
  • Conduct thermal, vibration, and mechanical stress analyses for ruggedized field-use equipment.
  • Prototype, test, and validate mechanical designs under real-world operating conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, EMC/EMI shielding, and environmental standards (e.g., IP ratings, CE).
  • Support manufacturing partners by providing technical guidance and solving production issues.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
