What You’ll Do: *Design, evaluate, and improve mechanical systems and components *Support manufacturing and maintenance teams with technical expertise *Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions *Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives *Contribute to capital project planning, execution, and equipment upgrades *Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation *Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and reliability *Manage engineering projects, timelines, and deliverables Requirements What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or product development Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and fluid dynamics Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and industry specifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience leading design projects or mentoring junior engineers Professional Engineering (PE) license Familiarity with FMEA, DFMEA, Six Sigma, or lean manufacturing methodologies Experience with electromechanical systems Technology and Tools *Experience with 3D modeling and simulation software such as SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS *Familiarity with MATLAB or Python for calculations and automation *Experience with project tracking tools such as MS Project or Jira *Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP for BOM management and documentation control *CAM software knowledge such as Mastercam is a plus Additional Requirements -High attention to detail and design accuracy - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment -Strong communication and teamwork skills -Willingness to travel as needed for installations, testing, or supplier visits -Strong written and verbal communication abilities Benefits -MMS offers a competitive compensation package along with: -Up to 15 days of paid time off and 10 paid holidays per year -Uniforms provided at no cost -Medical, dental, and vision coverage -Employee Assistance Program available from day one -Tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 per year -401(k) and Roth IRA options -Employee-Owned Stock Option Program eligibility after six months, company funded MMS is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
