MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We are delighted to be working alongside a leading Engineer company to recruit a Mechanical Engineer Our client has grown from strength to strength over the past few years and now due to breaching into new markets are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
The post holder will be responsible for design reviews, sourcing parts, machine learning and implement new procedures into the business

THE JOB ROLE:

• Discussing and resolving problems with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers and customers
• Design parts for manufacturing
• Conducting Design Reviews for a range jigs and fixtures
• Sourcing parts required
• Machine learning to train operators
• Creating schedules of work

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE:

• A high level of technical and scientific knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems
• Degree or relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering discipline
• Design experience
• Ability to clearly convey technical content
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within a Manufacturing or Engineering discipline
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD software
