JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer – MEP to join our team for an upcoming warehouse project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP design and supervision within the UAE, especially in industrial or warehouse-type projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in UAE projects with a focus on MEP works.
  • Mandatory experience working with engineering consultancies in the UAE.
  • Prior experience on warehouse or industrial projects is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, standards, and authority procedures (e.g. ADM, ADDC, Civil Defense, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Available to join within 0–15 days preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all mechanical (MEP) aspects of warehouse project execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, and timelines.
  • Review MEP design drawings, specifications, and material submittals in line with project and authority requirements.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines on-site to ensure smooth execution.
  • Perform regular site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Support project documentation including technical reports, inspection reports, and method statements.
  • Liaise with authorities for inspection and approval processes as required.
  • Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other mechanical systems.
