Description

Overview: The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop new and innovative solutions to keep our manufacturing facility running smoothly. Projects can cover a wide breadth of interests, from tooling and machine design, to facilities engineering and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an innate curiosity to discover how our plant works and what challenges we face, with the desire to invent and foster solutions to those problems. Our intent is to create an even blend of group and individual projects to manage as you grow in your capacity as a Design Engineer. As we are a fast-paced manufacturing facility, spending time in the plant is key! Most problems cannot be solved without witnessing them in person and hearing from the operators in the plant, so expect to spend around 25% of your time in the plant while fact-finding and learning, and 75% in the office executing the design work.
