JOB SUMMARY:

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer at MKS Vision Group, you will work closely with senior engineers and product development teams on a wide range of engineering tasks. You will be responsible for supporting product design, prototyping, testing, and general engineering work across various stages of development. This is a great opportunity for a newly graduated engineer to apply their academic knowledge and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and innovative environment. Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical components and systems for new products.
  • Support the creation of detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using [CAD software, e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD].
  • Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Participate in prototype development, assembly, and testing to validate product designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product management, quality assurance, and manufacturing) to ensure successful product development.
  • Assist with product lifecycle management, including updating documentation, conducting design reviews, and performing revision control.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to prototypes and production equipment.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing technical documentation, such as design specifications, reports, and presentations.
  • Support testing and validation activities to ensure that products meet required performance and safety standards.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
