ROLE SUMMARY:

Orana Engineering is seeking to fill the role of Mechanical Engineer within our Mackay Office. This position reports to the Mackay General Manager, is based in Mackay and provides the opportunity to complete onsite work at our client’s sites as required.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT’S ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

• Promoting safety and fostering a safe culture on all facets of work to which Orana Engineering is engaged.
• Performing Mechanical Engineering design.
• Performance of engineering audits, reviews and technical report writing.
• Project management of various interdisciplinary projects including preparation and management of project correspondence, documents, budgets and estimates.
• Mentoring and guidance for junior engineering and design staff.
• Opportunities to perform onsite works through various parts of, or the entire project lifecycle.
• Communication and interaction with clients, vendors and company employees.
• Observing confidentiality requirements relevant to this position.
• Support and mentoring from other Senior and Principal Engineers (including RPEQ) and Management, working as part of a team towards continual improvement in the quality and level of engineering and services offered to our clients.
