JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Mechanical Engineer the ideal candidate will be responsible to assist the Engineering Manager & to comply the following work requirements.
Ø Prepare Mechanical / Electromechanical static & rotary equipment datasheets.
Ø Review vendor datasheets / GAD for all the static / rotary equipment / valves / instruments to ensure the compliance towards engineering deliverables of the project.
Ø Review the 3D / 2D GAD for skid & containerized packages with detailing & ensure the essential compliance as required.
Ø Ensure the Material specs are met as per standards & cost effective manner
Ø Design and detail engineering of Pressure vessels, Columns and Storage tanks.
Ø Responsibility involves review of drawings, mechanical designs calculations, material specifications and purchase requisition.
Ø Coordination with inter-disciplines, other departments and external agencies like client, consultants, A.I.. etc.
Ø Preparation / Review of techno-commercial estimations for static equipment’s.
Ø Assigning and receiving work of Draftsmen.

Ø Performing of mechanical design calculations & reviewing of Fabrication drawings and Job package for Pressure vessels, Columns and Storage tanks in accordance with Design Code, Client datasheet and Specifications.

• Preparation / Review of Material Take off, Material specifications and Purchase requisitions.
• Technical review of vendor quotations in compliance with project requirements.
• Preparation / Review of Techno-Commercial bid estimation including MTO, RFQ, Evaluation of vendor quotations etc.
• Co-ordination with inter-discipline departments, clients / consultants and inspection agencies.

Ø Review the engineering deliverables generated by co-mates when required & ensure the document quality.
Ø Participate in technical meetings with vendors & clients as necessary (During HAZOP / 3D Model review / Clarification meetings inorder to facilitate the necessary approvals to be obtained from client)
Ø Adhere to the ISO procedures as adopted by the company

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• MECHANICAL ENGINEER: 4 years (Preferred)
