Our client in Greenville, SC is growing due to increased demands across multi-discipline projects, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and forensic engineering. They are expanding their Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services to better support regional clients—and are looking for a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Mechanical Engineering to help lead that growth. This is a direct hire position for our client. Salary: $70,000 to $120,000 Depending on Experience Location: Greenville, SC (100% Onsite) What You’ll Do As a PE Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality MEP systems across a variety of projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Lead the design and engineering of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selection Produce construction drawings, specifications, and details using AutoCAD and Revit Conduct site visits, review submittals, and support construction administration Collaborate with electrical, civil, and structural teams for integrated designs Mentor junior engineers/designers and perform QA/QC reviews Support client meetings, schedules, budgets, and project coordination Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Active Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience with HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection design Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and state/local mechanical codes Previous Project Management experience Forensic engineering or failure analysis experience a plus LEED acreditation a plus Construction Management background a plus Why Join Us Be part of a growing firm expanding its MEP and forensic services Work on diverse, technically engaging projects Collaborate in a multi-discipline engineering environment Opportunity to mentor, lead, and influence project outcomes Stable schedule with short Fridays Limited Travel Apply today to join a collaborative engineering team where your expertise directly supports growth, quality, and client success.
