Position Overview : We are looking for Mechanical Engineer who is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and devices. This role involves applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science to solve engineering problems and improve existing systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or advanced studies in mechanical engineering is a plus.
  • Licensing:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent may be required or preferred, depending on the region and industry.
  • Experience:
  • Relevant experience in mechanical engineering, including design, testing, and project management.
  • Experience with specific industries or types of mechanical systems may be beneficial.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Development:
  • Create detailed mechanical designs for new products or systems, including components and assemblies.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce and modify engineering drawings and models.

  • Testing and Evaluation:

  • Manage engineering projects from concept through to completion, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

  • Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure designs are implemented correctly and efficiently.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues and inefficiencies in existing systems.
  • Develop innovative solutions and improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
  • Maintain accurate records of design changes, testing procedures, and project milestones.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and other engineers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Communicate design concepts and technical information effectively to non-engineering team members and clients.
