We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer with mining and process equipment experience to join our team. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support mining and process equipment projects. This role requires a strong field and design background, excellent organizational skills, and the flexibility to work both in the office and on-site. The successful candidate will coordinate equipment, manage supplier and consultant relationships, and contribute to the standardization and optimization of materials and inventory. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the purchase, delivery, and installation of mining and process equipment, including drill rigs, pumps, tanks, and piping systems. Standardize equipment and minimize inventory across projects. Liaise with suppliers across Canada and internationally to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Coordinate field activities and provide on-site support. Work closely with consultants to ensure alignment with project scope and objectives. Provide technical input on upcoming studies as needed. Maintain organization and documentation to support project schedules, budgets, and compliance. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related field Field-based mechanical engineering experience in mining, process, or heavy industrial projects Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams Flexible and adaptable to office-based and field work, with periodic travel to site Willingness and ability to work out of head office in Saskatoon Experience with equipment standardization, vendor coordination, and inventory optimization Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CAESAR II) and Microsoft Office Suite Field experience in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment is an asset Oil & gas or heavy industrial project experience is a plus Extended Health and Dental Benefits.
