Mechanical Engineer I - HVAC & Plumbing Job Description: Responsible for 3D HVAC and plumbing drawings, connecting systems, sizing and tagging Ensures schedules, key notes, and specs are up to date BIM360 setup, coordination and management Interface with equipment suppliers as needed Performs HVAC and Plumbing load calculations Source cut sheets for all equipment in project including setup and augment sheets Insert HVAC loads, plumbing loads, gas loads/diagram, DSB reports, custom equipment cut sheets, into job sheets. Coordinate with clients and internal team with/on behalf of project engineer as needed Take site visits as needed to confirm existing equipment/sizing or plan conformance Participates in occasional installations for different types of equipment--usually your own designs Builds positive relationships with customers and team Maintains a positive attitude and supports GUNTHERS Core Values and Mission Completes any additional tasks as assigned by Engineering Managers Mechanical Engineer I - HVAC & Plumbing Job Qualifications: Experience with HVAC and/or Plumbing installation and specifications helpful Experience working with Revit MEP 2020-2024 required, skills in BIM 360, Navisworks, and AutoCAD are a big plus Flexible work hours Organized, customer service oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills. Remains calm and productive under deadlines. Self-starter, self-managed and productivity-focused candidate preferred. Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills Participate in whole-team meetings, morning standup, schematics, and peer reviews 1+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing design experience preferred, but not required Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is a bonus Same-day (usually just a few hours) travel to customer sites is required.
