OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and practices, with a focus on innovative design and problem-solving. This role involves working on various projects that require expertise in mechanical design, system design, and manufacturing processes. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient solutions that meet project requirements and industry standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is essential.
  • Familiarity with GD&T principles and ASME codes & standards is preferred.
  • Experience with CNC machining processes and manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical design and system integration.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in existing designs and propose effective solutions.
  • Create detailed schematics and drafting documentation in compliance with ASME codes & standards.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Arduino for automation projects.
  • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate product performance under various conditions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.
  • Engage in project scheduling to meet deadlines and deliverables effectively.
  • Develop system designs using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and LabVIEW.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, changes, and project status.
