WHAT YOU GET TO DO: * Own mechanism design from initial concept through build, test, and customer deployment. * An opportunity to work on a wide range of engineering problems: electro-mechanical design, fluid systems, test and validation, and electrical thermal management design. * Design real robotics solutions to solve major humanitarian concerns and have a hand in transforming our relationship with food * The opportunity to work with a cross functional team of perception engineers, controls, mechanical design, and software architecture. * Travel to industry customers to visit aquaculture farms and boats on east and west US coasts, as well as Mexico. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: * B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience * Background (experience, portfolio, side projects, coursework) in physical prototyping, mechanism design and misc. mechanical engineering projects * Experience with CAD tools (NX preferred) * Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication methods and rapid prototyping * Exposure to robotics or embedded systems a strong plus * Ability to work onsite full time in El Segundo office in Los Angeles * Mid-level to senior-level role * Minimum experience of 2 years, but more preferred
Responsibilities
