Description Position Summary Shrewsberry and Associates is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for vertical infrastructure projects in the Federal and state & local government markets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Using 3D BIM software for design, coordination and plan development of mechanical piping and air systems Preparing reports and studies related to mechanical systems Selecting, specifying and estimating costs of mechanical equipment Performing load calculations and/or energy analysis Conducting periodic construction site inspections Other tasks as assigned. Some travel will be required Requirements Education and/or Experience A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university At least four years of relevant mechanical engineering experience A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states Leading mechanical design of building projects Designing supply, return, and exhaust systems Performing load calculations and/or energy modeling Revit Designing plumbing systems Ideal candidate has performed federal DOD or National Guard services work We’re an equal opportunity employer.
