JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys CAD design, prototyping, and precision engineering? Do you want to work on advanced hardware in one of the fastest-growing quantum technology companies in the world? Join Single Quantum and help us shape the future of light detection systems.
Then we invite you to read on and apply!

IN SHORT…

At singlequantum.com, we aim to develop the world’s fastest and most sensitive photon detection systems— limited only by the laws of physics. From cryogenic hardware to custom electronics, everything is designed and built in-house at our Delft headquarters. Our technology is used worldwide by research institutes and industry leaders.
To support our growth (and grow further!) we are looking for a new Mechanical Engineer (full time, 40 hours) to join our team in Delft!

HOW TO APPLY

If the job description and Single Quantum excites you, we encourage you to submit your CV as well as a motivation or cover letter explaining why you think you’re a good fit for the position, along with what attracts you to the position.

ABOUT US

At Single Quantum, we confront every challenge with innovation, dedication, and passion. Founded in 2012, our team emerged as true pioneers of single photon detection technology: we were among the first to manufacture and commercialize superconducting nanowire single photon detectors. Since then, our multi-channel Single Quantum Eos photon detection system has been chosen by more than 100 academic and industrial labs all over the world to perform complex optical measurements.
We want to share this groundbreaking technology with you. Guided by our mission, vision and core values, Single Quantum will develop the world’s fastest and most sensitive light sensors limited only by the laws of physics. Join us in turning photons into data!
