Job Description This opportunity is part of AECOM’s Fursa Program and open exclusively to UAE Nationals holding a valid family book. AECOM are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer, to oversee and monitor all on-site mechanical works for a large mixed use / residential devlopment. The role will ensure that HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and associated mechanical systems are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, local authority regulations, and project timelines. Responsibilities: Supervise and inspect mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems. Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation. Monitor contractor performance, progress, and quality of installations. Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to resolve site interface issues. Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Attend progress meetings and prepare site reports. Ensure compliance with HSE standards and local authority requirements. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5–8 years’ experience in site supervision of residential buildings / villa projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems in low-rise developments. Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes. Good coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
