About the role
The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) working 4 days from 5, likely to be Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. The shift times will be between 0600 – 1600 or 0715 – 1715.
Our ideal candidate will have a desire to join an exciting, innovative company and they will play a crucial role in providing essential equipment support to all maintenance-related activities within the factory. Working in a small team of engineers, you will be responsible for carrying out all levels of preventative maintenance and responding to equipment failures as required.
You will be a qualified mechanical engineer operating in a fast-paced production factory that uses a vast array of common mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, pumping systems, transmission systems etc. You will also have proven experience of working with end-of-line packaging machinery e.g., flow wrappers, cartoners, labelers, filling lines and palletising machines etc.
We have an investment plan for end-of-line automation being implemented this year and if you have the skills that can help us and want a work-life balance of a four-day working week where almost every weekend is a long weekend, then this could be the place for you.
