Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specification of static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks) using codes like ASME Sec VIII & TEMA
  • Selection and evaluation of rotary equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers) per project requirements
  • Review and approval of vendor drawings, datasheets, and technical documents
  • Ensure compliance with relevant API standards, including:
  • API 610 – Centrifugal Pumps
  • API 617 – Centrifugal Compressors
  • API 618 – Reciprocating Compressors
  • API 619 – Rotary-Type Positive Displacement Compressors
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for equipment integration, installation, and commissioning
  • Troubleshoot issues related to vibration, performance, or mechanical failure
  • Software Tools:
  • PV Elite, Compress – Pressure vessel & heat exchanger design
  • AutoCAD – Equipment layout and detail drawings
  • Caesar II – Piping stress analysis
  • ANSYS (Optional) – Finite element analysis (FEA)
  • Vibration analysis tools – For troubleshooting and predictive maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in static & rotary equipment engineering
  • Proficiency in mechanical design tools and engineering standards
  • Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle
  • Effective team player with solid communication and technical reporting skills

Preference :- Immediately to 15 days
