Responsibilities:
A great opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in Woolloomooloo. In this role you will develop the skills and experience to satisfy the requirements for becoming a Design Authority Signatory (“Designer”) for Mechanical Engineering tasks.
Responsibilities will include:

Perform design tasks and analyses appropriate to individual experience and specialised knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
- Work under broad professional guidance, independently or as a team member to ensure that design products comply with the technical requirements of the task and are performed within the allocated cost and schedule.
- Work towards the attainment of “Designer” Signatory status for assigned tasks.
- Work towards the attainment of Chartered status of IEAust.
- Plan operations and or processes required to complete allocated design tasks, including estimation of requirements of staffing, material costs and quantities.
- Understand technical, commercial and legal implications of actions and respond accordingly
- Ensure knowledge of quality concepts, standards, systems and programs and their importance to the organisations success
