The position reports to the Mechanical Department Manager. The primary scope of this role is to manage the daily maintenance activities to maximize production equipment availability, as well as supervise all maintenance personnel assigned to the shift in a safe working environment. Responsibilities Plan, organize and schedule mechanical maintenance inspections, assessments and evaluations including spare part audits Supervise execution of work orders ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness of work Assign employees as necessary to maximize availability of production equipment and efficiency Stay abreast of daily information related to maintenance and production issues at plant (work request, production/maintenance meetings) Coordinate planning &implementing preventive &breakdown maintenance schedules for improving overall reliability and safety; ensure availability of labor, parts, services, etc. for their execution Make recommendations for improvements and elaborate execution plan Plan for spares and inventory control to achieve reduction in spares and manpower cost for mechanical equipment with view to maintain quality maintenance practices Prepare written instructions, guidelines, and procedures for mechanical maintenance tasks Maintain and promote strict adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and company policies; ensure that safety precautions are followed during installation, maintenance, and operation of mechanical equipment Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering 5 years of working experience in a similar position is required in a manufacturing, industrial or construction setting Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices of machinery and other plant equipment Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results-oriented Able to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines Communication with internal and external parties in a collaborative, positive manner Critical thinking and creative, problem-solving skills Able to quickly adapt and learn Team player and solid interpersonal skills Written and verbal communication skills both in Greek &English language Military Service fulfilled (if applicable) What we offer Private health insurance Pension plan Annual checkup Performance bonus Prepaid cards for supermarket Learning and Development opportunities Internships and summer schools for employee children Wellness programs and special offers At TITAN we provide equal opportunities for employment, prohibiting any kind of discrimination.
