Description

he function

As a Mechanical Engineer, you are part of a project-based engineering team and are responsible for translating customer requirements into high-quality, safe, and feasible designs.

You work on challenging custom projects where you are involved from the engineering phase through to realization. In doing so, you work closely with project management, work preparation, procurement, production, and assembly.

Your duties include, among other things:

  • Designing, modeling, and detailing mechanical systems and structures within a BIM environment (Revit)
  • Drafting and managing technical drawings, models, and project documentation
  • Performing technical calculations and analyses for functionality, reliability, and safety
  • Preparing Bills of Materials (BOM) and managing the technical handover to purchasing and production
  • Supporting production, assembly, and service with technical issues
  • Identifying and implementing optimizations in the areas of design, manufacturability, costs, and quality
  • Actively contribute to the further development and standardization of products and engineering processes

No project is the same. Every solution is developed entirely client-specifically and requires technical insight, creativity, and a practical approach.

Your profile

You are an engineer who looks beyond the design alone. You understand how technology works in practice and take the entire product lifecycle into account.

You think in solutions, are analytically strong, and know how to connect theory and practice.

In addition, you have:

  • A completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the manufacturing industry, machine building, or project-based engineering
  • Experience with Revit and working within a BIM environment
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Experience with PLM systems; knowledge of Pro.File is a plus.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and product manufacturability
  • Attention to quality, safety, maintainability, and cost optimization
