Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Nove Mesto, Slovakia! As Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for designing new  products and innovation of existing ones in accordance with technical and quality requirements. Responsibilities & Role Requirements:  • Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on VAVE & Sustaining projects for Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) and Liquid Cooling Units • Design and innovation of existing products in accordance with technical/quality requirements and focus on the mechanical aspects (sheet metal and piping).  • Cooperation with suppliers, procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs.  • To create and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material). • To meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs. • To analyze and solve technical problems according to the information from the Production, Procurement and Logistic departments, to simplify the assembly, reducing the costs and improving the quality. Qualifications & Experience  • University education (Bachelor's/Master’s degree) in mechanical engineering • At least 2 years of experience in similar activities, ideally in the CRAC or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) sector • Good knowledge of light structural work processing is mandatory • Knowledge of refrigeration principles is desirable • Knowledge of thermodynamics aspects is desirable but not essential • Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD (PTC CREO/Solid Edge), PLM/ERP systems, Microsoft Office tools • Knowledge of technical norms • Ability to read technical documentation • Ability to read and create Bill of Material structure and, eventually, their configurations • Ability to work in a Team and solve problems independently • English language - intermediate level • Result-oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible Reporting relationships: • Solid line reporting to Engineering Manager in Nove Mesto Interactions:   • Team members • Engineering, Procurement, Marketing and Production – Nove Mesto and Tognana #LI-LJ1
