Project Execution: Manage projects to meet defined quality standards, on-time delivery, and schedule adherence, working independently without supervision. System Engineering: Support system engineering and integration of equipment such as pumps, valves, mechanical drives, bearings, exciters, and structures. Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture. What you’ll bring Must-haves: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering, manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and GD&T. Strong proficiency in NX CAD software and mechanical design principles. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and product knowledge of mechanical machines and tooling. Ability to perform and interpret engineering calculations and apply GD&T and basic drawing principles. Nice-to-haves: Experience with reverse engineering workflows and tools such as Autodesk ReCap, Geomagic Design X / Control X, and 3D scanning technologies. Knowledge of system engineering and integration of mechanical equipment like pumps and valves. Familiarity with order processing, VAVE, NPD, product costing, and PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill. Basic knowledge of metals, materials, and their applications. Why join Weir?
