QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in MEP design or related engineering field
  • HVAC design experience or strong interest in developing HVAC expertise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • EIT certification preferred
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Windsor is seeking a Mechanical Engineer | HVAC who will contribute to innovative and sustainable HVAC design solutions while developing their technical expertise under the guidance of senior team members. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and hands-on experience with diverse building systems, ultimately contributing to improved energy efficiency and occupant comfort in various built environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support HVAC design efforts under supervision of senior engineers
  • Assist with mechanical system design, calculations, and equipment selections
  • Prepare design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Work with project teams to support positive client relationships
  • Develop relationships with team members and external collaborators
  • Learn to communicate design concepts to diverse stakeholder groups
  • Assist with proposal preparation and project estimating
  • Support project coordination and meet deliverable deadlines
  • Participate in mentoring and training opportunities with senior staff
  • Follow Windsor’s Quality Management Plan (QMP) and quality control processes
  • Develop knowledge of HVAC systems, building codes, and engineering standards
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines
  • Participate in site visits and field observations
