Description Objectives of this Role Designing and developing innovative solutions for continuous improvement. Determine project scope and design/acquire the necessary materials for implementation. Provide technical support for maintenance and operations and aid in troubleshooting systems. Work with engineering team on larger capital projects. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Development and/or improvement of production and maintenance methods and processes. Aid maintenance in troubleshooting equipment issues. Manage contractors as required for project completion. Maintain budgetary, scheduling, and project database oversight, and report regularly to project manager to keep them informed of job progress, plans, and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules. Requirements Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering OR equivalent work experience as an engineering technician. 2+ years of experience OR 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Proven computer platform experience. Strong field experience with a focus of troubleshooting and hands-on approach. Preferred Qualifications Strong working knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Circuit Design. Experience with machine design using electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices.
