The Mechanical Engineering department at the Saint Martin’s University School of Engineering seeks highly qualified candidates to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor full-time faculty position. Exceptional applicants in all areas relevant to Mechanical Engineering will be considered. Particular areas of interest include: aerospace, biomechanics, robotics, and machine learning / AI.

The Mechanical Engineering Department in the Hal and Inge Marcus School of Engineering at Saint Martin’s has a long tradition of excellence in teaching. The Department is responsible for the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, the Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, the Master of Engineering Management, and the undergraduate minor in Electrical Engineering, as well as new programs that are in development.
A doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering is required at the start date, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred. Prior industrial experience is strongly preferred. Full consideration will be given to applications received by June 6, 2025.
