Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Wheel Loader Product Development team is responsible for advancing both current production models and new product innovations. Working closely with manufacturing, product validation, and cross-functional engineering groups, the team ensures wheel loaders meet performance, safety, and reliability standards while incorporating new technologies into CNH’s construction equipment.
As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience supporting product development projects, prototype builds, and product launches. You will work as part of a cross-functional team, contributing to design, validation, and technical problem-solving activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the development of investment proposals, timing plans, risk assessments, and mitigation plans for assigned projects
  • Assisting in the design and development of test procedures to meet product requirements and technical specifications
  • Facilitating design review meetings, documenting outcomes, and tracking actions to closure
  • Participating in and supporting prototype builds and product launches
  • Providing technical support to explore, evaluate, and champion new technologies
  • Staying current on engineering advancements and field practices through hands-on field experiences
