Description
Key Responsibilities * Review manufacturing plans, engineering drawings, and CATIA models to understand part requirements * Analyze drawings and create detailed inspection plans based on specifications and critical features * Support updates to HDR in collaboration with the Final Inspection team * Work with CMM inspectors to review and update CMM inspection criteria and measurement requirements * Compare design intent with inspection methods to ensure proper verification of key characteristics * Identify gaps or inconsistencies between drawings, models, and inspection processes * Assist in standardizing inspection documentation and improving clarity of inspection requirements * Participate in team discussions and provide input on quality and inspection improvements Qualifications * Currently enrolled in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical program * Basic understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) * Familiarity with CAD tools (CATIA preferred) * Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills * Ability to interpret technical data and communicate findings clearly * Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (quality, inspection, manufacturing)
