Job Responsibilities: Works under the direction and guidance of the Director of Engineering Take approved CAD parts and creates product assemblies Assist with mechanical engineering tasks as needed Create documentation related to products in our weather and marine lines Helps to organize the laboratory facilities Works on site approximately 3 - 4 days per week Requirements Pursuing a degree related to mechanical or industrial engineering and/or a relevant combination of experience Possess strong engineering and computer skills with the ability to learn new systems Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English is required. Other language skills welcome. Experience using Solidworks, AutoCAD, or 3D CAD (Creo) a plus Additional Information: • This is an on site opportunity that will be performed from our offices in Hayward, California. • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position US Compensation Range: A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $18.50 - $25.00 per hour.
