Job Details Job Location: Corporate Headquarters - Carol Stream, IL 60188 Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None This is an on-site position located in Carol Stream, IL. Position Summary: Partner with Team Leader(s) to make our customers successful by embracing AJA’s Vision. Under the direction of the equipment design Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Design Intern Engineer is responsible for the design of new products for the manufacture of foodservice cooking equipment. Improve previously commercialized products. Essential Role Responsibilities ● Design new products and improve previously commercialized products utilizing SolidWorks 3D & 2D CAD, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and DFMEA (Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis). Training will be provided. ● Collaborate with cross-discipline engineering teams to fulfill customer requirements and ensure project milestones are completed on time. Qualifications Essential Skills & Role Qualifications ● 3D CAD (SolidWorks Preferred) ● Ability to differentiate colors ● Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal, communication, planning, technical and problem solving skills. ● Must be a team player with the ability to work in a multi-task environment and make sound business decisions. ● Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) (Preferred) Essential Education & Experience ● Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; recent graduate (Preferred) ● High school interns will be considered based on relevant skills and interests. ● Experience in Foodservice manufacturing Industry (Preferred)
