Are you a recent graduate or early engineer eager to advance your career in mechanical engineering? Join our dynamic team in Calgary as a Mechanical Engineering Intern! You’ll work under the guidance of experienced engineers, applying your academic knowledge to real-world projects.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll apply your foundational knowledge to assist in the design and calculation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for projects across a variety of sectors such as Industrial, Healthcare, Institutional and Commercial Buildings. Working alongside seasoned professionals, you’ll help create detailed Revit models, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with engineering standards like ASHRAE and NFPA. Your eagerness to learn and problem-solving skills will contribute to the success of our projects and the communities we serve.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Graduating or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, applied sciences or related field.
  • 1-2 years of engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment and in designing mechanical systems for projects pertaining to healthcare, institutional, commercial, or industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in engineering and office software and tools (e.g., Revit, Microsoft, etc.).
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work under close supervision and follow established procedures.
  • Registered or pursuing registration with APEGA.
