QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• Must have at least 10 years of experience working in heavy industrial capital equipment
• Must have prior management experience
• Must be able to travel 25% domestically for site support, customer visits, trade shows, and troubleshooting

• Ensure all engineering designs meet code, customer requirements, and internal standards
• Develop and standardize operating procedures and design practices across the team
• Perform and approve design calculations, engineering analysis, and validations
• Provide technical direction on hydraulic and electrical control systems
• Act as the final authority on interpreting codes and specs
• Contribute across product lifecycle from concept to release
• Provide field support, commissioning, and solutions for complex engineering problems
• Manage both Engineering and Project Management teams, including staffing, training, and development
• Drive departmental KPIs, engineering hours budgets, and project efficiency
• Act as a bridge between engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and field service teams
• Maintain strong client relationships through technical advisement and support
