South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a full time Mechanical Engineering Lecturer with experience of teaching Mathematics. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join this successful team and work within a dynamic environment.
We are looking for a committed and dedicated person with experience of working in the Engineering Industry to deliver Mechanical Engineering courses to Level 3 & 4 apprentices, Level 2 & 3 full time BTEC learners and Engineering T-level at South Staffordshire College’s Tamworth and Cannock campuses.
The successful applicant will be required to prepare, deliver and assess various aspects of Mechanical Engineering programmes for apprentices and full-time learners studying on our Engineering pathways.
The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant teaching qualification, or be working towards one (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed), together with a minimum level 4 qualification in a Mechanical or Engineering subject area.
You should have experience of the Mechanical Engineering industry, with recent experience of Maths/Science based subjects.
If you hold an assessor and/or verifier award this would be considered advantageous.
