SUMMARY

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering student to work within our Metal-Enclosed Switchgear Product Team. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members in providing support to various products manufactured at S&C and will gain exposure to engineering design principles as well as manufacturing techniques.
Work Term: Winter 2026 ( 4, 8 or 12 months term available)
Work Arrangement : Hybrid (2 days WFO)
Work Location: 90 Belfield, Etobicoke M9W 1G4

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering Diploma/Degree
  • Is in registered co-op program and available for the Winter 2026 work term
  • Can be proficient in Visual Basic
  • Can work with multidimensional arrays
  • Capable of transferring information from different sheets
  • Can debug and implement error handling
  • Some CAD experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player
  • Experience using CAD tools such as, AutoCad, Microstation or Solid Edge, is a strong asset
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
