Mechanical Engineering Technician
The opportunity
Currently we have vacancy for a full time position as a mechanical technician to assist in the maintenance of our automated manufacturing plant, as well as the planning and implementing of maintenance strategies and improvements in our CNC-production line.
Your salary would be 80,000-90,000$ + OT + Super

Your Responsibilities

As part of your new role you will be in control of tasks such as:

  • The planning and supervision of preventative maintenance of our manufacturing machines and tools
  • Preparing technical drawings for any outstanding mechanical works and assisting our engineers in designing any improvements on our plant
  • Executing the designed improvements by installation and/or fabrication of those
  • Keeping track and ordering necessary consumables and materials while considering the budget put in place
  • Working together with our onsite Installers for any alterations needed of installation equipment or tools

About you

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial environment or comparable job position
  • Trained in using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Excellent in interpreting and drafting of technical drawings
  • Experienced in operating CNC machines
  • Confident in designing and implementing improvements in production lines
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
