Job Description 🚀 This is a hybrid role requiring regular presence near Bridgwater, with flexibility considered for suitably located candidates. This position supports the Contract Engineering Lead on technical delivery of major mechanical equipment contracts. The role ensures supplier compliance across scope, schedule, cost and technical standards. It also coordinates interfaces and configuration control throughout contract execution. 🔧Support technical oversight of mechanical equipment contracts 📑Review supplier documents against contractual technical referentials 📝Produce structured comment sheets and lead technical clarifications 🔄Manage modifications, open points and scope gaps 🏗️Coordinate configuration control including CTS and design modifications ⚙️Oversee equipment manufacturing progress against site need dates 📊Lead contract technical, manufacturing and progress meetings 🔍Support resolution of technical issues and non conformities 🔗Manage multi discipline interfaces including piping and electrical 📋Coordinate surveillance activities and contract documentation control Qualifications Nuclear experience is not essential, but is of course welcome. If you have worked within a highly regulated environment, your skills and approach are highly transferable and of strong interest to us. We also recognise that the perfect candidate rarely exists.
