What you’ll be doing
· Preparing and submitting detailed mechanical cost estimates for large-scale M&E projects
· Managing client enquiries and carrying out site surveys to understand scope
· Working closely with suppliers and subcontractors to source accurate quotations and build long-term relationships
· Supporting pre-construction meetings, client briefings and tender interviews
· Tracking live bids and updating the team on the tender pipeline
· Contributing technical insight to the wider commercial and operational teams
· Refining estimating processes to drive accuracy and efficiency
What you’ll need
· At least 3 years’ experience in Mechanical Estimating
· A strong background in mechanical building services within a project delivery environment
· Exposure to sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial or public buildings
· Commercial awareness, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tenders
· Strong communication skills, confident engaging with clients and colleagues alike
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to complete DBS checks if required
